Over all I.T experience:
My first interaction with computers was in 1993 when we were programming BASIC language during my Electrical Diploma days. Since then I learnt every technology and concept I come across. I worked with Microsoft, Oracle, Java and Open source technologies during this period.
- I like to deliver projects which appeal to its end user.
- I believe technology alone does not offer anything. Its appropriate implementation to provide business benefit is important.
- I would like to make life of people as easy as possible.
- I can see deficiencies into existing systems & processes and can spot problem areas easily.
- Simplicity is everything. I can suggest simple solution to complex problem.
- Although its easy said than done; I would like to deliver projects which meet their objective within set parameters (time, budget and quality)
Personal profile:
I currently live in London, UK for last 5 years. Before coming here I stayed in Navsari, Pune & Mumbai. I have good friends & memories in each cities and I learnt a lot from people living in these cities.
Although my family comes from Diamond business background, my curiosity to know everything leaded me to get into science & technology field. Its been fascinating & challenging journey for me since then. During last 7 years I worked as Software developer, team leader, Product manager and Project manager.
Business/Career Opportunities I want:
- Breakthrough into Project Management field. Mostly Retail, supply chain management & finance sector.
- Develop appropriate Project Management methodology for IT field in India (Similar to ISEB & PRINCE in UK).
- Deliver projects which help to provide real benefit to community
- Spread Devnagari & other indian scripts in India so that a huge non-english-speaking, literate & intellect population can embrace computers and are not left behind.
